Early Activation, What is it?

It means that the Sunday ad for the upcoming week is activated during the current week on Saturday afternoon/evening!

While most chain stores activate at the same time, always remember YMMV.

The only way to know FOR SURE is to walk, skip, hop, cartwheel, swim or drive to the store!

Early Activation Walgreens

Walgreens early activation happens at stores that are 24 hours. It starts at 9 pm and is only valid for that night. For Walgreens, the register will combine deals from the current and upcoming week.

Early Activation CVS Pharmacy

CVS early activation starts at 4 pm and only at locations with normal hours (no 24 hour stores). For CVS, the register will give you the lower price. It will NOT combine the deals.

Early Activation Dollar General

Dollar General early activation starts at 7 pm. For DC, the register will give you the lower price. It will NOT combine the deals.
