What is a Sales Week?

The duration of a promotion, from the day it starts until the day it ends.

Knowing a store’s sales week can greatly help you when it comes to planning/organizing your shopping trips.

Retail Stores

From Sunday to Saturday

Example: Target, Walmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Macy’s

Grocery Stores

From Wednesday to Tuesday

Example: Food Lion, Kroger, Harris Teeter, Lowe’s Foods

Pharmacy Stores

From Sunday to Saturday

Example: Rite Aid, Walgreens, CVS

Now of course this doesn’t include special promotions/sales or monthly deals. This is just the basic sales week for all stores.

Having this information can be helpful for you. If someone posts a deal at Kroger on Friday, you know you have until Tuesday to go to the store to get in on the deal!
